Looking for a GAS cylinder head for a Major. Casting number is E1ADN6050BF1, but I'm told all castings were the same and just machined differently to become gas, diesel, or TVO. |

I kind of doubt that. One has spark plugs, the other injectors. The castings are quite different in those areas.
The blocks look the same, except the gas bore is smaller, maybe achieved with the sleeves. Gas is 200 cu inch, diesel 220 cu in.
I've heard that the exhaust gases from the gas engine tend to burn away at the head and manifold. Maybe an expert could build them back up again. |

I have the whole tractor if your interested, however I have never been able to tell what its really worth. On a side note, if its just your valves and guides you can have the Diesel Valve and Guides re-machined to fit perfectly in the gas (they shorten the guide, and cut and re knotch the valve) |
