Where is the serial tag located on a Fordson Super Major Diesel?
I saw something on the dash just ahead of the gearshift knob. It that the location?

Serial number: Behind starter motor/under injector no1/front firewall behind engine.
Engine number: Under manifold, close to generator. Also try "fordsontractorpages.nl" as the Fordson Tractor Pages has everything that you would want or need to know about Fordson tractors.TSG.

I thought on a Super the numbers were on the heat sheild between the engine and the fuel tank. Been 30 plus years since I owned one, so I could be wrong.
