Help! I've got an old Dexta (58-59) that I'm trying to restore back to her "workhorse" condition. It is equipped with the Simms "Minimec" mechanical injector pump. The problem is I can"t seem to get the fuel that I need to the motor and the injectors don't spray properly. I've completely gone through the fuel system and even bought new injectors. Have set the pump timing as well. The filter has been changed and with the injector lines removed from the pump it will shoot fuel 8-10 feet from the delivery valves when the motor is cranked. Any advise is greatly welcome! |

Might pay to try the Fordson Tractor Pages (fordsontractorpages.nl) Dexta's only got the Minimec pump after April 62, might pay to check the casting codes too.Tractor number is on the bellhousing on the left side, if your's is a 58 or a 59, it should start "957E" TSG. |

Thanks for the reply! I did check the numbers and they are 957E7005. Any ideas? The number on the pump itself is P4588. From what I"ve seen there is absolutely nothing out there for information on it. If anyone has any info please advise. |
