Anyone know where i can find a starter for my 1952 Fordson major diesel? Went to start it today and nothing, i checked and have power to the feed lug I pulled it off checked the brushes everything looks good, I hit it with the jumper cables and it spun over but installed nothing.

Try an earth wire. you don't say if there is one. My 56 is earthed [bottom lug] to a gearbox bolt. |

Found the problem the positive cable was half connected in the molded lead connector.Changed it out starts great now. |
