Here is a pic of our 8700 back from the painter. Still have some work left on the lights and a new cab kit and floor mat to put in it.

It was looking pretty tough as the rust was starting to show through the sheet metal and the decals were cracked and faded. The headliner was sagging and torn and the inner cab foam was cracked and faded.

It has just under 11200 hours on it. Still used for planting but it was our main tractor for 25 years on or dairy farm. I spent many thousands of hours in that tractor discing, chopping and planting.

Well, the old girl looks great in her new suit!
There still should be lots of hours left in her yet.

Looks great. My brother has a 4600 cab tractor that burned last year. We got most of the repair parts (still to be put on!!!). Where did you get the cab liner? Rose

Rose,

We bought the headliner and the cab foam kit from Shoup as they have free shipping for orders over $200. These come in some large boxes. I haven't checked prices in a while as we bought the kit over 2 years ago.

Same story with my old 8000. 11,500 hrs & still going strong. Well, mostly. Could use a new inner wheel disc on the right rear. 1/2 of the keyway is worn out. Probably from having that wheel in the plow furrow for so many years. Tough old tractor. Leaning on it now while my 8700 is down.

Hey Jason, that looks great. Did you replace the rubber door/window seals and door mirrors? I need them for my 8700 and TW30, and was hoping to find them cheaper than CNH. Also, where did you find the 8700 decals?
Thanks,
Chris
