Hi, I have a 4 HP famous horizontal hopper cooled engine that the pistion is stuck. Can the pistion be pressed out the back towards the crankshaft or does it have to come out the front towards the head side? Thank-you, Phil

Soak the piston with some ATF to see if that will free it up. If that doesn't work you could pull the head and pour some kerosene on top the piston and set it on fire to see if the heat will free it. Don't do this near any building or anything flammable. Hal
