I have a chance to purchase a nicely restored 8 HP Associated that runs well. It has a cart that looks close to what is shown in the owner"s handbook but I can"t say for sure. The gentleman wants me to make a fair offer but I am unsure of its value. I am thinking in the $3500 range. I would appreciate any input or a name of someone who would have accurate pricing available. Thanks!

If nothing else, go to Nixon Auctioneer's website and check out the "sold" prices for this year. May not find an exact example but should give you some idea. $3500 is probably not that far off, would think it is approaching the high side however. Magneto, welds, cracks, or a clutch pulley can swing the price either way. Good luck.
