I have a 1985 ST16 3016H tractor it runs great but has a bad stearing column. Is there any market for what is left of the tractor. it has a Hydrostatic automatic tran., good mower deck with new blades and belt and tires all all good.

Yer darned right there is a market for Sears Suburbans! First, if it is in as good condition as you say, I would try to find parts to repair it. I doubt if parts are available from Sears, but you could try Sears Parts Direct. You will need the complete model number which begins with 917. If not you may find parts on CraigsList or EBay. If you want to sell it, advertise locally or CraigsList or EBay. There are those who restore them. I don't know where you are, but I would like to have it myself.
