Bogus Response !!!!!

Has anyone been scammed by someone responding to a "need to haul" inquiry and demandning a $100 advance payment?

not always a scam. Many truckers show up and the load does not exist. Good will contract is needed.

Unfortunately, this incident was a scam executed by that skunk with the 224-531-3002 phone number.
It's people like this that are parasites who are too lazy to work, and have no conscience.

I agree, not all are dishonest, just the few per cent that are basically crooks.

The agreement was to pick up the tractor on the 12th...it didn't happen and no one has responded when the phone was called. After reading earlier posts on this forum, I don't have any hope that the original agreement will be honored.

I won't loose a lot of sleep over the incident, but I will be more vigilant when trying to help a friend the next time.
