I posted a "wanted" message on this website a few weeks ago and received a response from a George Neville idicating he had my wanted item and would sell it. We agreed on a price and he gave me a total price which included shipping. He insisted on Western Union money transfer, which was ok with me. I sent the money to a Charlotte Benson of Niles, Michigan. He supposedly shipped the item. About a week later he notified me that the shipper wanted more money. I figured he made a mistake originally so I sent him the extra money. About 10 days later he notified me again saying the shipper wanted still more money. I wasn't happy about this but he already had my money, so I took a chance and sent him more money. I waited for my item. Didn't arrive. I next heard from him, stating he was selling this item too cheaply and wanted more money. At this point I had to cut the head off the snake and said the deal was off and to return my money. He returned an email saying no refunds. So now I am still without the item and also without my money. It's too bad that every once in a while one these people emerges from the ground and spoils it for the rest of us trying to enjoy antique tractor collecting. Folks be careful.

He contacted me, too, claimed he had several windrower attachment for a JD#5 sickle mower, still new in a US warehouse, he was in England on business. He told me he needs 200,- for it, WU sent to the woman in this reply. I was suspicious and asked him if the windrower attachment had the steel wheels (standard) or the deluxe rubber tires. He wiggled some, avoided the answer but finally said it had the deluxe rubber tires.... (for those of you, it does not have ANY tires, bolts onto the sickle) I knew then he was a fraud and I told him so. He got mad and told me I need to make up my mind....uhh?
...about a month later, he contacted me again and wanted to know if I still wanted the windrower attachment with the rubber wheels.....
