I restoring a JD engine. I have all the parts and I am wondering where I might find the torque values and tolerance gaps for the main bearings and the connecting rod. Does anyone know these or a manual that has these specs?

I don't think you are going to find a manual with torque values, but you can look at a fastener torque chart to get an idea. I would GUESS the hardware would be, more or less, Grade 2.
You can find owner's manuals on ebay or at hit and miss enterprises that will tell you have to set up the bearings.
