FMCSA has been busy lately. First the new cell phone rules now we get the new hour of service rules.
While this will not affect most of you guys I thought some of you might be interested.

Carrying a very sharp pencil (in other words lying on your logs) is a thing of the past for more and more drivers each day. Many companies are going to electronic logs.

It not only reduces violations in; road side checks; annual detailed in the office reviews; it also reduces insurance rates.

Big brother is watching. That is why I have no desire to ever get involved in trucking again.
