I"m glad you got my message. I thought you might
like that 292. Those 292"s have enough power and
torQue to do almost anything you wanter to do with lots of aftermarket speed equipment available. The motor mounts would have to be changed and the 292 is going to be harder on gas but it would be a very good combo. Keep me posted

Another YTMAG'r "old" does work on these old trucks to. Keep an eye out for his posts as well.

id like to know what kind of hp and tourque that 292 is making sure sounds real healthy!

One of the most unique sounds ever, was a Chevy or Jimmy six with a split manifold and dual glasspacks! I kinda miss those days. Kinda, heck, I miss them a LOT!

That was a tough sounding 292. I'd like to know more specs about that engine. As for fuel, it cannot be any worse than a 350.
