I have a 56 fordson major with a vane pump that has gone out. I need to but one or have this one rebuilt. Any suggestions?

Google it.
There are 2 places in the Detroit area that rebuilt vane pumps.
Paragon Technologies is one of them. I dont have a clue as to the phone #. |

thank you. I took the pump off of the tractor and brought it down to the local shop. I explained what was going on to the guy at the counter and he said it needs rebuilt and would cost 3-600. I asked to get a more direct answer and an expert came out and i explained what was going on and he said i didnt even need it rebuilt it was fine. It was whining cause it was getting air sucked in. I replaced the parts (20.00) and it works like a champ. I am so glad there are honest people now a days.
If anyone needs one rebuilt K&E Technical out of West Frankfort Illinois is the place to go. 3 thumbs up. |

Just an FYI.
The place that I gave you the name of, they (and other places) should have rebuilt vane pumps in stock, so all you would really have to do is ship them your old one and they would give you a small credit on your old one. And then you would buy another rebuilt one. |
