Those sets came out in 1980 and 81.
They are now worth in the $50 range.

I wish I had kept the Deere set that I got back in the 60s. That one was the first set,came in the open top box,had six tractors in it if I remember right. Started with the Froelich and ended with the 10 or 20 series. I'm gonna guess that had to be about 64-65.
My mother worked for the local shoppers guide back then and went out every Monday and Tuesday picking up ads from local businesses. The Deere dealer was one that she visited every week. She brought me a lot of toys as soon as they came out. I had one of the first 110 L&Gs,a steel mailbox bank with a bird on top,and that historical set as some of the real highlights. |

I picked it up for five dollars. Rrlund I wish I had that john Deere set to there are a couple of versions the early set like you mentioned and then a set that came in an enclosed. Box with the same tractors and ended with a sound gard body tractor |
