I am looking for pistons and sleeves for a 404 international. I made a post a few weeks ago and gave some bad information. Now I have it all together! The pistons I am looking for are for a C135 engine from eng. sn 100501 and up. I have tried seven places and they took my order only to refund the money and tell me that they couldn't get the parts. Can anyone tell me where I can get the parts or at least tell me what the difference is between the old and newer model pistons? I have a lot of money in this engine and don't want to give it up. I really need some help here.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Have you tried Hy-Capacity. They list them for that serial number and above. I would have checked their stock but if it gets mixed up I might be getting parts and I don't need that. They list for $156 a hole. You will have to work through a Hy-Cap dealer but most independent shops and a lot of imp dealers also work with them.

I have NOS piston & sleeve sets in the style that you are looking for. Email me, and I will provide a pic of the piston.

You could try CaseIH. They have the kit listed at $221.05 per cylinder on their website. Pete 23's suggestion sounds a bit more affordable, though.

Thanks Pete,
I just checked with Hy-Capacity and they are showing up to s/n 100500. I need from s/n 100501 and up. I may not be doing something right since I have never had any dealings with them. I'll check further in the morning.

Thanks again,
Mark

Yes the serial number break is at 100500. The lower is one kind of piston and from 100501 forward is the other. 100501 forward is what I need. This site is showing 100501> and they as well refunded my money. I do intend to call Hy-Cap to check verbally just to make sure.

Thanks for the info. All is appreciated!

Hey Nosih I am also looking for a piston/sleeve set for a late serial number C135. Do you still have some available?

Thanks,
Justin
