I have three 4 cylinder Diesel blocks out in the shop. All have 3.90" bores so they are 172's- not 144's.

Note: All of these have Sleeves and Cannister style oil filters.

310609 cast June 19, 1958 (86T date code). No crankshaft balancer and no teeth on the crank to drive a balancer.

B9NN6015B cast March 10, 1960 (0C10 date code).

C0NN6015C cast September 29, 1960 (0J29 date code).

I had a C0NN6015? block with no sleeves and a spin-on filter but I must have sold it because it's not here now.

Your C0NN6015J diesel with the 6E4 date code translates to 1966, May, 4th (possibly 1976?) so I'm guessing it must have been a Service Replacement (parts counter) or Industrial block.

Yes, I removed the diesel engine from a 1959 tractor and the head had a 1959 date code so the block had been replaced.

I need a B9NN6015B block.

Seems like you've found one, and Alan is a respected member/contributor here.
