I know a few of you have had this problem befor but I couldn"t find a posting. I"ve got a HD9 with the starter that wants to grind. As a worst case situation what would it take to change the ring gear on this dozer witha a strait 71 Detroit. Thanks |

I had some 371-471-671 power unit and the flywell ring gear was more hight and on HD9 with 471 DETROIT you should have 102 teeths and I have 2 good one on racking and the # is 4341292
and some ring gears too are 103 and 118 teeths. |
