was looking for some specs on a 4 star that I found here locally, What horsepower was it rated? Also is it a 206 cube? What is shipping weight appx ? It has 9 Bolt wheels, on gasoline with 1 set of wheel weights. Thinking about making it a puller was wondering how light. What year were these made? Last question is how hard would it be to put the engine in a R or Z Moline to lighten it up. Thanks |

Huh! About same engine as R or Z, just newer with overhead valves. 206 should be right size I think. Not sure if you mean to lighten another tractor with445 engine or what, but should all be about same weight. Thinking HP is around 42. |

4 stars show to have been made from 59 to 63 for gas/LP w/2537 made and 60 to 62 for diesel w/92 made. My 4 Star is a 206 engine LP.

Thanks, I know it is easier to make engine modifications with extra horsepower with the overhead valves. I was thinking about the 4 star lightening it up for pulling or using this engine in a R or Z. Liked the idea of the foot clutch in the 4 star though. |
