The right brake on our Ford 1710 is locked up. We can not get the cover plate off, I'm assuming because it is locked up. Any suggestions on how to get it unlocked? |

The plate should not be affected by the brakes being on, except for a little drag from the cam pin. Does the cam pin rotate? if it does I would just give the edge of the plate a few good raps. If not, use some penetrant and work it loose, then use the hammer. |
