i split the tractor cause i thought the clutch needed replacing .got it back together same problem .when you put it in gear let off the clutch it wont move you hear like a grinding noise.i thought maybe something was stuck so hooked to another tractor to pull still the same thing it does it whether clucth is in or out.any help would be great.thank you |

Your tranny may be stuck in two gears. You may be able to find it by pulling the tranny cover. Hal
PS: Don't pull it you may do severe damage to the drive train. |

It's hard to say whether its hard or easy. Pull or have someone pull the cover if you don't feel up to it. Go to a dealer and talk with one of their mechanic's or the shop foreman. They've probably seen this problem before. Hal |
