Thinking about putting a proper paint job on my Massy Ferg 35. Looks like engine/frame was painted silver over a green, fenders and hood are faded red. What is the proper scheme and a picture would be great.

You could have a early 35 which had green. What is serial #? We can tell you more with the #.

55 56 were the green belly tractors with light grey tin you should be able to fine one under Vintage Photos to the left of this page. The green belly's are one of my favorites just being so different than grey

It's a 1959. The beginning serials #'s for 1959 started at 125068 and ended at 171470. I would say your tractor should have gray chassis and Red tin. The green was on early 35's. Maybe someone could post for sure if they did use green in 1959.
