Is there any trick to remove the inner rear window trim on a 96 Cadillac other than pry it up? The outside handle does not handle and the child safety latch is turned on/slid over to lock. |

it sounds like you are removing the rear door inner trim panel, correct? look on the bottom of the trim panel for any screws. also around the inside door handle, there may be a bezel that needs to pry off to expose a hidden screw. if it has a courtesy reflector lamp on the trim panel, it may have a hidden screw under the lens. look for any small circles on the trim panel that cover hidden screws. from there you will need to gently pry on the trim panel and look for blind fasteners that hold the trim to the door shell. you will need a prying tool to help release the fasteners without breaking the trim panel. also, you may need to pop off the power window switch to see if there is a hidden screw under there. work slow and dont force it. |
