I am working on a 125 John Deere skid steer with a gas continental engine. Around a mid-late 70's model I think. The fuel pump is bad and I was going to replace it with a 12 volt electric from a parts supply store, but wasen't sure what the fuel psi was. There are two pumps to pick from one is 2.5-3 psi and the other is 4-7 psi. I picked up the smaller one but have not opened it yet. Any ideas?

You need the low pressure one, just needs to get the gas to the carb, not unseat the needle valve

Got to agree with MSM, the lower pressure one ought to be all you need for a carburated engine.
