is the cable turning the tach. moving in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction? (not sure if the tach. drive changes rotation)

If you mean the tach drive attached to the back of the generator, then yes, the tach drive does change the direction of rotation, so looking at the back of the generator the tach drive output would be turning clockwise.

It depends on the Engine and where the Tacho drive is taken from. Not all Tachos drive in the same direction.Just look at the face of the Tacho and where the scale is, some read in the top part, some read in the bottom part and some read in both parts..John(UK) |
