Just put on a new tach cable on a G950 and was wondering if it works better to lube them or not when installing them?

I always lube them with lubriplate before I install them,any light grease would probably work fine,it will last longer and run smoother that way.

Yes, lube them somehow, I have had a couple break over then years, they were rusty and dry. If your needle ever starts flopping around, the cable is dry and begining to fall apart.

You can use white lith. for it too.
