HI all. Attempted to re-time my Wico "C" mag per IT manual due to gov issues and noticed the impulse lock nut (part # 16-491)was loose. After tightening it I couldn't even turn the mag shaft a whole revolution to get it to 'snap'. Is this normal to just be 'hand' tight ? Also cannot get a consistant spark while doing re-time/test on bench. Mag was rebuilt and worked just fine before. Can anyone give any info on this issue. Thanks...

Called the company that rebuilt the mag. You could leave it loose by using a small amount of locktite on the threads. Hal
