Has anyone used POR 15? Did you like it? I just used some on my old Chevy truck. Hope it works. |

Where did you get yours? There used to be a rival product that was sold at the local tractor show, but I haven't seen it available off the shelf. |

Eastwood.
The local Auto Value has the same product but with a
different name, at least that's what the sales clerk
said. |

No luck at the Baraboo show. Hopefully Rock River will have the vendor there. |

I"ve used it, it works great, one thing though, make sure you have done ALL your welding before applying it. If not, you will have to grind it off the area you wish to weld, You can not weld thru it. It"s harder than heck, however does work great. Oh, and if you get it on your skin, only time will eliminate it, you can not wash it off with anything. |

I have been using it for a while now and you can count me on the LIKE....side. Doing a "56 Chevy restoration/reconstruction. Put the body on the rotissorie, had it blasted (underside and firewall) with fragmented glass, applied POR 15 and then undercoated. Looks great, very tough finish. Great Product.......... |

I've used it too, it flows very nicely and gives a high gloss finish. The draw back is that it does not withstand UV and to topcoat it requires POR's special primer. |

I've bought it direct from the POR15 company and also from TP Tools in Ohio. I'm sure you can find them both on the Net.

I have used it on 6 John Deere tractors and it has worked fine for me. Follow their instructions and you should do fine. If you get it on your skin it will usually wear off in about 4 days, on cloth it will be there forever. There is only two ways to remove it from metal, grind it or use POR15 stripper. You can brush it or spray it and it covers good. They recommend their Tie Coat primer but other primers will work fine. Their web site is www.por15.com. |

He got his from E-bay. My local auto paint store has it. $50 for a quart! |

They didn't have it at Rock River Thresheree. Where do you go for a GOOD tractor swap meet anymore. I don't care if its Baraboo, Sycamore, RR, or where it is mostly yard sale garbage. A guy can't go to a show and buy new and used tractor related parts anymore. |
