The original subject was "Re: Cracked 80 mm Standard block.".
I have a TE20 wit h Standard engine and block is cracked at the bottom (near bottom of liners) between #3 and #4 cylinders. I"m worried about welding because of the liner sealing/gaskets near the bottom.
Any suggestions????? |

go just above the webb that is cracked between 3-4 aND drill a 1/2 hole through the block from each side,put a 1/2 bolt through it and seal with silcone or some type of sealer and draw it tight.it should hold for a long time |
