I just got all of this in a "package deal", it's a WD45, half of a WD,
Allis Chalmers 7' Sickle Mower and 5' brush mower.
The WD45 was running 2 years ago, he was mowing with the brush mower with out a slip clutch and hit a tire and took out the PTO.
He then took apart the PTO and never got anything replaced.
It was stored in a shed out of the weather, the engine still turns over and everything looks good.
The parts tractor isn't much, but it has all of the PTO parts that the complete tractor needs.
I don't know what model the Sickle mower is? it was last used 2 years ago, everything still looks good and moves freely.
I also don't know what brand the brush mower is? it is a model C-60, it needs blades and slip clutch, but it's not rusted out.
I paid $550 for everything! and it was only 5 miles away!.

Be Aware that the WD Lower Gearbox is NOT as strong as the later WD-45 GearBox...

Great Deal, that 82-T sickle mower is close to worth $550. Bush
hog is likely a howse, or off the shelf box store type mower,
agrisupply should have any parts you need. The 3 point is as bad of
a bodge up as I have seen, but if it works with that mower, so be it!

The guy said he had a 3 bottom blow but he already hauled it into the scrap yard Sad.
I'm going to try to get it running today, but i was wondering if i can run the tractor with the PTO dismantled ? basically i just want to see how it runs before it fix the PTO, I figure it should be fine as long as the PTO stays off.
Thanks

The serial number is 132764 (1953), which makes it a WD not a WD45.
But the tractor has a bent shifter like a 45 ?
The parts tractor serial number is 70515 which makes it a 1951, it has the straight shifter like a WD.

WD came with the curved shifter, constant mesh transmission, in Fall of 1952, SN 127008. You could use a cover plate under the transmission, where the pto unit bolts on. Need that closed up to retain trans oil. Very definitely a good deal to get all that for so few dollars!

I was thinking the same thing on the 82 T. From what I can see of the knife bar it looks little used.
But I'm confused. I have salvaged parts from my neighbors later model AC mower. It has the same later style gearbox, drive train, and big tires. But the frame is different?! The tires are across from one another. The frame is kind of a channel iron bent around in a "U". I think the cylinder was mounted differently, with maybe a cable and pulley involved.
I would guess this mower pictured is later yet.

Bob, I believe your neighbor's mower is an 80-T. Same twin wheel drive that started in the No7 mower. The 82-T, I believe is the last in the line, it had an improved knife head, and connector bolt, to the drive. The diagonal axle, was to make right angle turns shorter. Also made you have to jack up one wheel, opposite the drive head, to remove the sickle assembly!

Indeed! Apparently the change from the 7 to the 80 were the gearbox (and associated parts) changes. Then the change from the 80 to the 82 were the frame differences.
All gearbox, drive arms, cross arm stuff from the 80T fits on my 82S.

Did you get the snap coupler drawbar and bail for the 45. See the WD has the bail but no drawbar. What you have on the 45 now is a AC lister hitch.
