Almost ready to use the G950....finally. Plan on redoing the cab after harvest and put back on. Need to set the wheels in yet for narrow rows and get the drawbar support bolted on. Then on to sileage....

Took the tractor in to the welding shop to get the wheels set in and got a compliment on the tractor. When I called to see if it was done another guy there answered the phone and said "You mean the G950 Minneapolis that Im in love with?" He then said "that is one sweet piece of iron".... I thought yep..I know.. When I first drove it in the shop the guy said "That is a long engine..." I told him that is one of those "long" life engines.... |

Well....new pto plates, fix transmission lube pump, new radiator and hoses, went through pump and injectors, different exhaust manifold, straighten drawbar support, recovered the seat, and a bunch of minor things which Im still tinkering with.... sure like driving it though.. |
