We are getting ready to have an auction for my late father in law. He has a Tracto Motive TL 10 pay loader. Was wandering if that had a 226 engine in it. Has the same engine casting number of AM 3856 as his WD 45. Thanks. |

Early TL10's had the 201, during 1953, the engine was changed to the 226. Not sure where the s# break is, between 385, and 677. you should be able to tell, by the way the engine is cast, one has a plate, and one doesn't. Don't ask mw which, WC's, WD's and 45's are not my strong suite! |

Plate DIY talks about is on the right side of the 201 engine, used on WC, WF, WD tractors. About six inches high, the length of the block. No plate, it"s a 226 like in the WD45. |

That casting # equates to a WD45 226 cid engine. |
