Experiencing power loss when climbing a hill or using an implement. Changed plugs with no difference in power. Oil psi is same as when running well or at 25psi. Motor sounds good when idling or revved up in neutral but when in gear it takes longer to speed up tractor. Also noted that when I add pressure to the gear stick shift I get more power. I do have the sherman lever and, here again, I get more power when holding it up with more force(by hand) to its power position. In any case the normal extra power does not automatically kick in when needed by the tractor when climbing hills or when needed for pulling power.
Appreciate any help from more tractor savvy individuals than myself before having to bring it into a mechanic. |

Is the clutch slipping a little? Perhaps adjusting the free play at the pedal might help. |
