Here are a couple of pics of a tractor at a local Agricultural Museum display at the County Ploughing match.

Appears to be a TEA20 with Standard engine with a TO-35 serial tag. |

It's the standard, looks just like my fe35. I think it could be an fe. It depends on the bore size. |

Definately a tea 20 and not a 35 as the steering column is different.
Looks like there is a bit of deception going on!

Doesn't show up well on tag but shows TO-35. Also has the aluminum alloy transmission case.

Note the screw in fasteners for the ID plate. The originals were riveted. |

I would think I.D. tag would be held on by rivets. So no one could swap with another tractor. Like a VIN number on an automobile.

The serial number on the steering column refers to a 1960 TO-35 (203,680-207,426) S- being standard chassis, G- being continental gasoline engine, M- being dual stage clutch. Color should be Red/Flint Gray Metallic, The way the paint is chipped on the bolt heads would make me think that the cover was removed at one time. Possible removed from another tractor and put on this one. It would not be the first time a tractor was rehabbed with parts from other tractors. I could be wrong. Chris |
