Hi guys,
I have a 1948 old style 88 standard. My question is for the paint. It is a hard working tractor around my place, but has no paint. I would like to paint it the correct color. Should it be the same type of green as the 1949 and up row crow tractors? Or is it that darker green that almost looks like it has a little blue in it. Where can I can gallon paint and spray cans for that color? Is the tractor supply Oliver medium green the correct color? That looks a little dark. This is not for a restoration so I am not looking for automotive finish. I just want it green again. Thanks for all of your help. |

i don't remember what the company name is but i believe we pick it up at farm fleet and the like. the paint you want is the one that says pre-1951 oliver green so it is the darker version of the late fleetline green. also your tractor should have red lettering as well and it will say standard 88 on the side. |
