Looking for salvage yards for lawn mowers in the upper mid states around the Dakota's, Minn, Iowa, Neb. I sprung/twisted the mower deck on my Cub Cadet Z-Force model 53AA5B6L710. It is a 44" deck. Do not know if a 48" will work or not, but may be interested. Any help is Appreciated. New price is a little high by my concerns for a 8 year old mower.

Thanks

You could try and sneak a wanted advertisement in the CL Farm and Garden for sale section. You might get flagged off depending on on what mood the PC police are in.

There are also lots of resources for used parts on yahoo forums.

Ebay has a wanted section too. Hard to find on their site. Link is below.

With the current price of scrap I don't thing you are going to be lucky. Why spend the labor to part something out? Your best bet is going to be little self made mower repair places. It's gotta be close or else shipping is going to be deal killer.

If the frame on the deck is shot just price that and not the wholedeck.

Local dealer $552.00 That is shell only. Will have to take everything off the old shell and place on the new one. Found one online for $437 no taxes and free shipping, so got that one ordered and will try and straighten out and repair the old one when time allows as an emergency backup.
