Hal,
I finally googled some info too. I wonder if my problem is that I do not have my photos uploaded to any remote site like photobucket. So they have not URL... because they are in a folder on an external hard drive.
Probably time to give it up for now. |

If you right click on any of the pictures you posted on the Talk forum and then left click on "Properties" the image url for each picture will appear on your left. They all begin with http and end with jpg. Use the html writing that I emailed you on any of your image url's and you can label each picture. It just takes a little more typing. You need to use all those symbols and punctuation shown in the email for them to post. Hal |

Here's the first picture that you posted on the Talk forum. I will use your image url for that pic and use html writing with a label below the pic. Hal

Hal,
Thank you so much for the immense amount of help! I saved all the info and the link you posted. It may turn into a winter project, but I WILL give it a shot. I think learning HTML may even be helpful at work - maybe I can learn to post info on our website rather than my boss doing it.

I'm retired from the Federal government after 43 years. Two of those years were spent in the US Army during the Korean War and was drafted in 1953. I also married my high school sweetheart. Our daughter was born at Ft Bragg NC. Since I was drafted while working for the government I was rehired back at my old job as a returning vet. We tested all those vehicles used by the Army. The Abrams M1A1 Tank and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle were big projects. The Army base is called Aberdeen Proving Ground located near the Chesapeake Bay. Hal |

My older brother joined the Air Force 3 days after we graduated from high school in 1951. My two brother-in laws that were married to my wife's older sisters served in WW2 and were still in the active reserves. Both were recalled to active duty in 1950 and both retired from the military. Working for the federal government and being a vet puts you in different category when there's a layoff. If you were wounded in action you're put into a different category. Hal |
