I had two punches inserted into two holes on top of flywheel to hold flywheel in place while attempting to remove the PTO clutch. The tip of one punch broke off and fell down below flywheel. I can turn flywheel by hand & flywheel turns freely. I have not tried to start the engine. Does anyone know any reason why I should retreive the broken tip before starting engine. If I have to remove the flywheel, does anyone any tips on how to do it? I belong to the 8n/9n forum. Have 1952 8N & 1940 9n (Both Restored) 1987 843 working Bobcat. Your suggestions are appreciated. |
