Spotted this front axle on a G705 that was for sale. Never seen a straight axle on a Gvi or G705. Second pic is my Gvi with an arched axle, like my G705 had. Was the straight one on any G705, or is it off something else? I'd like to have one to lower my front end a little.

Just went through a bunch of MM pics and it might be from a GTB/GTBD. Any other ideas?

I just went to the shead and looked. It looks the same as my gtb. I like the looks of that axil!

Hey Toolz, have you thought about 23.1-30 rear
tires it looks like you got the power to turn them.,more speed and raise the rear. The tires I saw looked weather cracked and that makes me nervous after flat tires at Tremont. I know I did not like the way my Gvi felt pulling with the tall tires on front. Just a different thought. Jack

I"d like to do that- would have to find some 30" centers, and if the rules police get pickey, somebody might complain. Of course, I wouldn"t be the only one in the club with non-stock tires! I have a set of 20.8-34 that might work well also. I also have two nice extra sets of 23.1-26 if these give me a problem. Probably do something before next season.
Looks like Delavan is a go- see you there!
