Saw a post from you in 2008 that your dad had an old Belle City Picker behind his barn. If he still has it or part of it I would like to get ahold of you. Thanks.

Sorry Brent - He sold it for scrap about a year ago.

We quit using it about 1980. Had we known back then that it would some day be desirable we might have found a way to keep it inside.

But - Hindsight is always 20/20.

No problem. Thanks for the reply. Are you going to the FENA national show in Boonville, MO this coming week-end?

Sorry - Absolutely no way I can make it.

In the town I'm from, the local Lion's club puts on a huge street fest that always seems to be the same weekend as the FENA shows. I've been helping with this festival for more than 20 years, so it's not something I can walk away from. It's a part of my life.

As an odd sort of coincidence, we have a lot of trailers and equipment to move for the festival. I use my MF 35 for a lot of the moving, setup, and tear-down.

I live near Osceola. It's a small town of not much. Also between
Elkhart and South Bend. Are you a member of FENA?

I used to be a member of FENA. But I dropped my membership when I fell on hard times a while back.

Dang, you're way up there. We went by there on our way to vacation in Sturgis Mi. earlier this summer.

You were practically in my backyard. I'm only 40 min. from Sturgis.

With a name like "Boss Hog" and taking vacations in Sturgis, I'm guessing it is not a Honda in your garage? Laughing

Not exactly sure why you'd say that, but you're right.

Actually I look more like Uncle Jessie (From the Dukes of Hazzard) than Boss Hog. Not quite sure how I got that nickname.

My Wife's family has been going to the same cabin up there for 20+ years, so I'll probably be back there next July. Maybe I could stop by and say hello.

Please do. I have a restored Ferguson Pony and a barn full of Ferguson implements as well as several salvage yards only 15 minutes from my house.

With Sturgis being the spiritual home of Harley Davidson (according to Willie Davidson) and a name like Boss Hog I assumed it would be a Harley in the barn.

I used to think Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) was something else, but I see she's now 58 and well weathered! Very Happy

Uncle Jessie was played by Denver Pyle:

And Willie Nelson:

So I guess we now have a fair idea of what Boss Hogg looks like!! Laughing

Mr. Hog. I saw a previous post where you showed some interest in a MF NA-1 dirt scoop. I have one if you are interested, it needs a new home.
