Cone-shaped extension for hub mounted duals

We are thinking about getting the cone shaped extensions to bolt to the hub of our G1000 Vista in order to mount duals to this tractor. A couple questions I have about these are:

- were they reliable (the cone shaped extensions)?

- I would imagine it is hard to come buy Minneapolis Moline Steel/enclosed rims for duals to hook up to the cones. Is the bolt pattern on the cones on the side that mounts to the duals a standard size and spacing (i.e. can International, John Deere, Uverferth, etc. rims hook up to the Minneapolis Moline cones or are they specific to only Minneapolis Moline rims)?

- It would appear to me that with 23.1 x 34 tires which are what we have and are a fairly wide rim, that the cones would not extend beyond the outer edge of the tire so we had thought that we could bolt the cone against the hub weights which we currently have in the hubs now by using slightly longer threaded rod to tighten the cones to the hub effectively sandwiching the wheel weights between the hub and the cone. With that being said, I know the bolt pattern is the same for mounting the cones or the wheel weights to the hub (4 bolt holes) but will the flange of the cones (side that mounts to the tractor hub) fit into the groove of the hub weights (the groove that allows each hub weight to mount against the next set of hub weights)?

Why are you wanting to mount duals? traction problems? You could maybe fill those big tires with fluid? I am not too sure about mounting the cones to the wheel weights. It might stress the bolts, to hold that much weight out so far. We have the cones on a 4 wheel drive MM, but it has 18-34 tires. I am not sure if the dual hubs are universal (ie, JD, IH, Umverferth compatible). I live in Texas, and have 2 hubs if needed.
