Hey, Bought an Oliver 1865 from the Paserek auction in PA. Took the 5 hour trip with a buddy of mine who trucks for a living. He was generous enough for me to do it for only the cost of fuel. I am excited to get to work on this beast. Unfotunatly I think the engine is locked up. Everything else seems good other than the cosmetics. Here are some pics. Had to unload the tractor at a loading dock 3 miles from the shop so I towed it off with my pickup and towed it to the shop.

I love it. I was leery at first as I have had 2 with the 5.4 in them and really liked them and the mileage I got with them. I took this truck to Missouri on vacation and averaged 19.5 mpg the whole trip plus the power is there. You would never guess its a v6 if nobody told ya. This was the first thing I have towed with this truck and it was a breeze. Would love to put it on a trailer and see what it would do on the highway.

Dale Kinser, If that was your call I missed tonight im sorry. Had the phone on silent and never saw it till now. Try me again tomarrow. You can email me to if you like. fordman2283@yahoo.com
