Lavoy, I have been collecting 2 cylinders for a while and have always
wanted a crawler. I found a 58 420c crawler for sale it has a rebuilt
motor, rebuilt steering clutches and a new radiator. What other
things do I need to look for? Guy is asking 2000 is that a fair price?
metal looks in very good shape as well...

I bought one new in 1959, still got it. Look at the take-up bolts. If they are out to the ends you might need pins and bushings, also sprockets if the teeth come to a point.

Here that would be a steal, don't know about your area. Seems everyone here thinks a dozer has dirt, bad paint and rust on top of gold.
