I've had my TO30 for seven years now, but I never bought a manual. I have a copy of the owners manual, but I am hoping for something more detailed. Agco has a TO30 service manual for about $21. This website has a service manual for about $37. There is an IT shop manual out there as well. What's best? Both in quality and depth of information. What is the difference? |

The blue Shop service manual as sold on this site is the best one to get. Though it can be purchased as low as $16.00 from other vendors. Shop around. TPI
The I&T is generly not considered that good.

Hi Jeremy, I have a new IT for 9.50 incl postage.
Then a 187 pg copywrite 1954 by Harry Ferg.Inc.
Light use with some "smudges" for $16 plus 3.50
postage. The Ferguson one is extremely detailed.

I agree with Jeff-oh, I have I&T manuals for two different tractors and I am not really happy with them. Frankly, I do not think they go into enough detail. |

I would want both. Even the I & T leaves a lot to be desired so does the factory models as they are aimed more at the dealer that is already a mechanick and the I & T is aimed more to the owner and on some things they will cover what the factory thinks you should already know. And covering the same thing will word things a bit different or give a different view and that different wording or view may be just what you need to understand. So for the price if you can get both do it. |
