Can someone tell what the rear wheel weights on a D-17 weigh? They are factory weights with D-17 stamped on them and are about 3" thick. |

The only factory weights I am aware of are-
the WD/WD45 style weights with four bolt holes, two hand hold slots, and weigh about 125#-
and the "pie" weights- four individual sections- each weighing about 60-65# I think. |

I have a set (neighbor bought new with a new series III D-17 -maybe AC, maybe a foundry made them up); they are concave on one side to fit the AC wheel center, but squared off, flat facing out, very thick and very heavy. Much heavier than the typical 45 and 17 AC weights. I always thought they were factory AC, I walk past them daily and have never looked for markings or numbers! |

I have seen the weights you are talking about. They weigh 300# each, but some don"t have D-17 stamped on them. The pie weights for the D-17 weigh 75# each |
