Hello welders;
I found a website and video about a prototype welding helmet and video setup developed by some college students in Toronto Canada. The video is pretty interesting and the application of the electronics seems useful as well check out the video and see what do you think?

That is some technology! To be able to see details so clearly in the light of an arc is pretty amazing.
Let me know when they go on sale at Harbor Freight! |

It would have been a lot better if they had an experienced welder try it out. Comparing looking at the arc without a dark lens on the camera isn't much of a comparison. With a really good standard lens you can see other details while welding. |

Very cool. I would like to get a can of that 'augmented reality'
