super 44 brakes

Finally got brakes on little tractor, Lord what a job. The Oliver engineers definitely dropped the ball on this one when they didn't make the left side housing big enough for the brake shoes to come up out of it. Had to take the left side axle off first.Of course after 55 years every thing was stuck together on the axle shaft.But now I have a set of brakes that I can rely on to stop and hold the tractor when I need it to.

Glad you got the job done. Remember that transmission & axle unit was built by Clark. I did some research years ago for the Avery collectors. They sold that transmission to quite a few people
