We are having problems replacing the case 220 solenoid (kohler 10hp). Any idea what the replacement part is? I would rather buy a new one than used on ebay |

In spite of what others may tell you, the Case solenoid is somewhat unique and not easily found in the aftermarket world.
That solenoid is designed to work with the two safety switches so that the engine will not spin over unless the PTO clutch on the front of the engine is fully disengaged and the Travel Lever is absolutely in Neutral.
The old style solenoid is no longer available but there is a replacement solenoid kit that is factory authorized. Click on the link below and then click on Electrical. Part number C33025 is what you are looking for and Bob will ship you one either the same day or the next day at the latest.
