I got the shear base welded up and bolted the tool to the base.
Turns out the casters are not really an issue with using the tool.
Tried to shear and bend some stock and it worked fine.
I haven't tried to roll any sheet metal yet but I rarely use that function.
Just need to paint it up.

Been planning on doing that with my h frame press. Was worried about how well the casters would stand up. Then it dawned on me that the only thing they are holding is the weight of the press and whateven I was pressing. Good set of casters should last a lifetime.
Sure will be better to be able to move the tools around won't it! |
