There seems to be a problem with the serial number registry. When you try to add a new tractor's serial number the first drop down box that asks for the tractor mfr. gives an error message before you can enter any info. Error message is "no model found for that brand"

What manufacturer were you selecting?

I've had some time to check it out. That problem would come up for any of the manufacturers that had a period in the name (for example A.C. Anderson). But the problem also may be that I can't test with every possible browser. What browser are you using (for example, IE 6, Firefox, Google Chrome etc).

What is happening with these changes, is that I'm trying to make it easier for some people to find their model. The list had every model for every manufacturer in it and people were getting lost trying to find their model. So now it changes that model list when you select a different manufacturer. I'm thinking that that is not working on whatever browser you are using.

If you click on modern view, you'll see response I posted when you first asked about this. But in short, you ran into a bug in a change I made on Friday. I've been trying to recreate it, but haven't been able to you.

Do you know what browser and version you are using. That will likely be where the problem is and I'll need to test with it.
